MAKE ART. Do you have creative chops? Then head southeast of downtown and make art, make music, make up a story or poem, and win cash prizes at Masterpiece in a Day, Fountain Square's one-day art and writing competition. Participating is easy (and FREE)! Bring your art supplies or your favorite pencil (or laptop). Spend the day in Fountain Square making something. Turn it in by 3, then hang around for the award ceremony. While you're waiting, join in – or gawk at – the Fountain Square Art Parade, and browse the Fountain Square Art Fair.
