2008 Fountain Square Art Fair

Saturday, September 27, 2008, 10:00am to 6:00pm.

Come on down to Historic Fountain Square on Saturday, September 27th for
the best-darn-art-day in the city! Three great art events, plus Brats and Beer
at two different Octoberfesti.

Here’s the skinny:

• Fountain Square Art Fair—10:00am-6:00pm. Some of Indiana’s
  hippest artists and artisans gather for a fun and light-hearted nonjuried
  show. WICR Entertainment Stage keeps you groovin’ all day!
  In the parking lot at Morris and Shelby Sts. Public parking at the
  Teamsters on Shelby across the street from Bud’s Supermarket.

Masterpiece in a Day—the venerable day-long art competition turns
12. Come see artists by the bucketful using our fair village as
inspiration for creating art right here on the spot. Judging is in the
late afternoon and winners get some big moolah! Many of the FSAF
artists will be competing from their booths. Brought to you by Big Car
Gallery.

Wheeler Arts Community Open House—4:00pm -10:00pm. The artists
of the Wheeler open their studios to you. Roam around the cool
building, check out how the artists live and work, enjoy some
yummies and brew and music!

Octoberfesti—2 of ‘em! Deano’s Vino on the corner at the fountain will
have theirs, complete with music beginning at 6:00. And the
Rooftop Garden, high atop the Fountain Square Theater Building has
theirs, complete with the best sunset views of downtown…in town!
