NDIANAPOLIS, IN—December 13, 2011. Fountain Square Brewery is pleased to announce the opening of its new Tasting Room in Historic Fountain Square. Finally those who have had their beer in pubs and restaurants as well as new visitors can stop in for a beer tasting. The Brewery currently features 6 different types of fresh beer on tap, while the beer tasting room provides the opportunity to taste variety of beer styles, visitors may also purchase growlers, kegs, and logo wear. "We've been making great beer since late September, and now it's about time we have a place where you can come in and taste it fresh from the Brewery," commented partner Bill Webster. "If you want to learn more about brewing or take a tour, you can do that. If you want to just relax over a fresh pint of local beer, you can do that too. We just want you to have a great experience, meet great people and enjoy carefully designed, locally crafted beer." To celebrate, the Brewery will be hosting a Grand Opening in January of 2012. There will be live music, catered food, a carnival atmosphere, and featured specials. "This is something we've been working hard on for the past year, and we're thrilled to be able to invite everyone to come in and enjoy a beer with us," said partner Justin Brown. "The Fountain Square community has been so supportive of us over this past year, and we want them to be part of celebrating our new home." In keeping with this theme, the music, food and beer of course, will all be local to Indianapolis. “We’ve focused on developing highly drinkable base beers of different styles and have been just blown away and flattered by how well they’ve been received by the beer the craft beer community and even by people new to the craft beer experience.” Head Brewer, Skip DuVall said. But Fountain Square Brewery is no ordinary brewery. According to partner Jeff Gibson “Since each of the partners has a science or technology background, we have been leveraging that talent to bring state of the art technologies and methods to achieve the highest levels of consistency, quality, and stability in all our offerings. Through in-house research and external partnerships, we will continue on a journey to supply our customers beer of the highest quality”. Fountain Square Brewery is also excited to be partnering with other local establishments to offer limited menu items to their customers. The Tasting Room is open Thursday and Friday from 4pm to 9pm and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6. Tours of the Brewery are also offered on request. In addition to the Grand Opening in January, the following event is planned for December: Holiday Celebration – Dec 17th, starting at 4pm. Live music, $3.50 pints and food. Call or email for details.
