Southeast Neighborhood Development, Inc. (SEND) is a non-profit community development corporation created by neighbors to revitalize the near southeast side of Indianapolis and to enhance the quality of life of its diverse spectrum of residents.  Since 1991, SEND has furthered these goals by investing more than $26 Million into community development. It has become the largest community development corporation in Indianapolis, and its most productive. SEND's investments have leveraged many more Millions of dollars in reinvestment by businesses, government, and neighborhood residents, leading to a dramatic turnaround in the prospects for this neighborhood.  SEND seeks to build partnerships with other individuals and organizations that share these goals. This unique cooperative effort brings individuals and resources together from community groups, churches, businesses, schools, and social service agencies, as well as local, State, and Federal Government. We hope that this website will enable you to become part of this effort to make the Southeast community an increasingly thriving urban neighborhood! Fountain Square Main Street is a program of SEND.
